Solar Panels & Renewable Energy in Dundrum

Fifteen minutes from Deansgrange, inland and slightly elevated.

Dundrum is dominated by large 1960s and 1970s semi-detached family homes with generous, simple roof planes. That is close to ideal for solar: plenty of uninterrupted area, a standard 30 to 35 degree pitch and concrete tile that takes mounting hardware easily. Household electricity use tends to be high here too, which shortens payback.

The main thing to watch is mature garden trees. Dundrum has a lot of them, and a single large beech to the south can cost more yield than people expect.
